Ideia da viagem (Travel idea)

 Como aconteceu:

Depois de ficar fora do Brasil por quase 7 anos eu pensei que era hora de voltar para casa.

Como foquei muito na carreira nos últimos 14 anos, acabei não tendo muito tempo para férias e como não tinha compromisso de trabalho achei que este era o momento perfeito (e provavelmente a minha última chance) para fazer uma viagem longa! Tudo bem… talvez eu tenha sido um pouco influenciado pelos meus amigos europeus que sabem aproveitar a vida… hehehe A idéia original era uma viagem de 3 meses, mas depois houve Natal e Reveillon, além da minha reunião de 10 anos da Faculdade no meio (Eu sei… 10 anos! Sem comentários…) e eu tinha que estar no Brasil para essas coisas, então a viagem foi encurtada para dois meses .

A decisão do itinerário não foi tão difícil. Eu queria continuar no hemisfério sul e acho uma vergonha que até hoje eu não conheça absolutamente nada da África. Ao pesquisar um pouco (e graças ao meu broder e guia de turismo global Brunão), percebi que há tantos lugares sensacionais para conhecer na África que decidi concentrar a maior parte da viagem neste continente. A idéia inicial era usar o Round the World ticket, mas já como precisava atravessar os dois Oceanos, o primeiro itinerário incluía a costa leste da Austrália e Nova Zelândia. Mas os planos mudaram, a viagem foi encurtada, por isso vou focar na África, além de a Jordânia ea Turquia.

Bom galera, isso é aí! Espero que através do blog vocês possam curtir a viagem aí nos seus escritórios tanto quanto eu vou curtir in loco. Tenham certeza de que quando eu estiver nos raftings, safaris, trekkings, mergulhos, e que mais surgir vou estar pensando em vocês! Vou sim, viu… ;-)

How it happened:

After living abroad for almost 7 years I thought that it was time to go back home.

With so much focus in my career in the past 14 years, I ended-up not having much time for holidays and since I had no work commitment, I thought this was the perfect time (and probably my last chance) to do a long trip! OK… Maybe I was a little influenced by my European friends that know how to enjoy life… hehehe The original idea was a 3-month trip, but then there was Xmas and New Years Eve plus my 10-year reunion from University in between and I just had to be in Brazil for these things, so the trip was shortened to 2 months.

The decision of itinerary was not that difficult. I wanted to keep in the southern hemisphere (sun, please!) and was ashamed that still today I knew absolutely nothing in Africa. When researching a bit (big thanks to my buddy and global tourism guide Bruno) I realized that there are so many amazing places to know in Africa that I decided to focus most of the trip in this continent. The original idea was to use the Round the World ticket but since I needed to cross the two Oceans, the first itinerary included the Australian East Coast and New Zealand, but my plans changed, the trip was shortened, so I’ll focus on Africa, plus Jordan and Turkey.
